About Hunter

A Local Legend

Hunter H. Harris, is an active FAA certified commercial pilot who is licensed to fly all categories of aircraft which include airplanes, seaplanes, gliders, jets, helicopters, and blimps. He is a longstanding member of PAPA International (Professional Aerial Photographers Association), and has been awarded by this group the coveted distinction of  "Master Photographer". PAPA is a professional trade organization comprised of aerial photographers throughout the world dedicated to helping it's members provide quality service and products through shared experiences.

Hunter has also been a member of EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) for 30+ years, and for years was President of the local chapter (532) when it was active. He has been recognized by EAA with an achievement award for flying many Young Eagles in aircraft such as his Stearman, Cub, Cardinal, and seaplanes.

Hunter is an active member of several other aviation organizations including AOPA (Airplane Pilots and Owners Association) where he was one featured as the "Pilot of the Month" in the monthly publication "AOPA Pilot".

In 1988 Hunter was elected into SETP (The Society of Experimental Test Pilots), a group of recognized professionals who have demonstrated and attained the requisite standard for the flight testing of military and civilian aircraft.

Hunter's Awards

Hunter Harris has received many awards for his outstanding aerial photography - most notably from PAPA (Professional Aerial Photography Association). Photography competitions are held annually around the country and the competition is tough - but Hunter has some incredible photography.
